I am Associate Professor of Transdisciplinary Research, working at the School of Human Sciences, University of Greenwich. I have been a Senior Research Fellow and Marie Curie Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). I received my PhD with the highest distinction from the Free University Berlin, where I founded and headed the Research Group Comparative Differential and Personality Psychology, funded by the German Science Foundation (DFG). My research career started at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology (MPI-EVAN) in Leipzig, where I conducted research at the Wolfgang Köhler Primate Research Center (WKPRC). I have been a Visiting Scholar at the Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies, National Research Council of Italy (ISTC-CNR) in Rome and conducted research projects in the Netherlands, among them at Utrecht University. I have also been a Lecturer and Researcher at Humboldt-University of Berlin as well as a Lecturer at Free University Berlin. Moreover, I have been working in Human Resources Management where I led a Management Development project in the U.K. headquarters and two plants of Howco, an international steel-working company. I also worked in Computer-Human Interaction (CHI) research, amongst others in a software usability project of Daimler Chrysler. |
